The natural products industry is alive and well in Quebec. Our node partner, the Institute for Nutrition and Functional Foods (INAF) at Université Laval, is a central player in the research, development and commercialization of natural products in the province.

Working closely with INAF, we hosted a networking reception in Montreal on Sept. 18th. The event attracted an impressive array of well-established and up-and-coming companies, as well as investors, innovation organizations, researchers, and research institutes in the natural products space in Quebec.

This unique gathering of experts from a diverse set of backgrounds produced a lively exchange of information and ideas. Discussions touched on everything from commercialization hurdles and regulatory issues to raising capital.

The calibre of the conversations reflects the high level of activity in the natural products arena in Quebec. NPC is proud to be a part of it, and we look forward to hosting more of these events in the future.
