INVESTORS

Why Attend?

The Nutrition Capital Network (NCN) is known around the world for its in-depth industry knowledge and extensive network of corporate leaders and active investors such as General Mills, Abbott Nutrition, Smuckers, and DSM. For over a decade, they’ve delivered highly-focused and effective investor meetings, introducing promising companies to capital investors–roughly 50% of the companies that pass the screening process find an investment partner.

Building on NCN’s finely-honed selection and mentoring process, this meeting brings the extensive network and know-how of Natural Products Canada. They work with hundreds of partners across the country to identify and develop innovative opportunities in natural products, providing a roster of pre-screened opportunities with strong growth potential, programs and services to develop those opportunities, and when appropriate, participating as an investment partner. To learn more about NPC’s innovation and investment support services, please contact us.

The calibre of presenting companies also attracts a strategic group of corporate and private investors from across the US, Canada and beyond. This means attendees have exclusive access to valuable networks, behind-the-scenes information, and in-depth experience in everything from industry transactions and market trends to deal structure.

PRESENTING COMPANIES

Why Attend?

NCN Investor Meetings are designed to connect high potential companies with suitable investors and other strategic partners. The model, format, and audience has been developed and refined over ten+ years and 50+ events. Roughly 50% of the companies that pass the screening process find an investment partner.

Companies apply to present, and are evaluated by NCN’s selection committee on a number of factors including, market knowledge and positioning, team, sales forecasts, and innovation. If accepted, companies are matched with a mentor from the selection committee to help refine the pitch and prepare for their interactions with investors at the event.

For the NCN-NPC Canada meeting, Canadian companies also receive the benefit of engagement with Natural Products Canada, who can provide further advice and guidance, introductions, and potential investment.
