ABOUT
Seizing the $1T opportunity in naturally-derived products, technologies and services
Canada has a Role to Play
Canada has incredible potential to play a powerful role in the development of sustainable, natural solutions that can be applied to a broad range of sectors. Natural Products Canada (NPC) exists to help Canada realize that potential. Talk to us.
What We Do
NPC works with a wide range of partners to identify and develop innovative natural solutions that can meet the growing global demand.
How We Do It
We are the driving force behind Canada’s Natural Product Innovation Cluster, providing support, guidance, introductions, programs and investment.
Who We Are
We are a results-driven, commercialization-focused organization with a strong network across Canada and around the world.
How We Support The Cluster
NPC designs all of its programs, services and initiatives to meet the needs of the members of the Cluster.
Commercialization Programs
NPC offers strategic advice, guidance and up to $250,000 in non-dilutive capital to address key challenges of high-potential innovative natural products. This directly meets the needs of start-ups and research institutes, but it also provides a steady pipeline of innovative opportunities to corporations and investors looking to build their portfolios in these areas.
Innovation Hub
NPC facilitates meaningful interactions and information-exchange between the various members of the Cluster through the Innovation Hub. NPC works with a range of partners to provide Investor Meetings, Virtual Pitch Events, Open Innovation Calls, Industry Reports, networking events, webinars, and more.
Investment
NPC recognizes the untapped potential in Canadian natural product innovations. It has invested in 13 companies to help them meet their growth potential. Recently, NPC helped form a new investment fund to continue this legacy, Nadarra Ventures. NPC also works closely with Canadian and international investors to introduce these opportunities, and support them in their due diligence and de-risking.
Cluster-Building Activities
Our Cluster-Building Activities tackle issues that impact multiple players, and require input from diverse stakeholders to produce coordinated results for a sector or subsector. TALK TO US.
