Companies develop range of products from medical nutrition to insect protein
Natural Products Canada is pleased to announce the latest recipients of its Commercialization Programs who represent some of Canada’s most promising young companies.
“We continue to be impressed by the calibre of product development and innovation that we see in these Canadian companies,” says Shelley King, CEO, Natural Products Canada, a national organization that offers commercialization programs, advice, introductions and investment to advance Canada’s natural product industry. “This latest group of recipients meet the growing market demand for natural products and solutions across a range of industries.”
The four companies all completed the rigorous application process, providing detailed evidence of the potential of their product and company, including uniqueness of the technology or product, market demand, and the overall business plan.
“Each of the successful applicants is tackling specific gaps and milestones to realize their full commercial potential,” says King. “With these funds, they can accelerate that progress and meet their goals faster.”
The four companies represent powerful natural product innovation with applications to human and animal health and nutrition:
