Revisions address eligibility criteria and removal of repayability requirements
NPC is pleased to announce updates to its Commercialization Programs. The Programs address common commercialization challenges faced by Canadian innovative companies and researchers.
- The Access to Talent Program (previously Executive Talent) provides up to $75,000 to help companies secure key personnel
- The Proof of Concept Program provides up to $250,000 for trials that provide commercial validation for a product or technology
- The Fast Track to Financing Program provides up to $25,000 to fill strategic gaps to increase the likelihood of securing public or private financing
The Programs are open to Canadian applicants who are members of Canada’s Natural Product Innovation Cluster, and meet the eligibility criteria, including having a product/technology with the potential to generate a minimum of $10M-$15M in annual revenues.
Updates include:
- changes to eligibility criteria for applicants
- removal of repayability requirements
- changes to matching contribution requirements
- revision of eligible activities
Program Guidelines are available on the NPC website. Those interested in applying are strongly encouraged to read the Program Guidelines, attend one of the Information Sessions, and talk to their Regional Director.
INFORMATION SESSIONS
Information sessions will be offered throughout the fall to provide in-depth details of each program, and to address questions around eligibility, application requirements, and approval process and timeline.
Registration is now open for the first (virtual) session on October 27th at 1pm EST.
Other sessions will be announced in the coming weeks, including a French event.
