Q:What’s the origin story of your company?

A: The idea of Seed to Surf was conceived deep in Covid lockdown when the co-founders were looking to create an innovative product that would combine their passions for veganism, ocean sustainability, and culinary excellence. They explored the option of using whole vegetables to recreate the seafood experience, and just over 2 years later, their Seed to Surf products finally went to market at the beginning of 2023.

Q: What’s the best thing anyone has said about your product so far?

A: “This is the best plant-based seafood option we’ve ever tasted!”

Q: What’s the most rewarding thing about building your company so far?

Q: What is your key objective in attending CHFA?

A: It’s incredibly rewarding to know that every decision you make is completely on your terms, and that every success you have can be celebrated as your own.

Q: What are the top 1-3 things that you’re focused on right now?

A: We are currently focused on expanding distribution across Canada and the US, next-level product innovation, and improving production economies of scale.

A: We look forward to attending CHFA, where we hope to increase our brand exposure and meet new people – vendors and retailers alike!
